Student Overview
RSA is committed to supporting future generations of rhetoric scholars by working to keep participation in conferences and institutes as affordable as possible, awarding travel grants, funding RSA student chapters, and providing network development opportunities.
Student Resources
RSA Remote
RSA Student Chapters provide a forum for gathering locally as rhetoricians and can serve a variety of rhetoric-related functions. Many established student chapters have created or are creating rhetoric colloquia.
Student Resources
Here we are building out recourse center for graduate students (and all!). Let us know if you find any resources out of date, or if you have any to add..
Student Membership
Student memberships are offered at a reduced rate and include a subscription to RSQ. Being an active member of RSA helps students become integrated into interdisciplinary conversations about rhetoric and provides access to other resources.
Chapter Directory
Start a chapter today! All you need is a faculty advisor and at least three RSA student members. Click “Submit Your Chapter” below.
The Chapter Directory offers basic information, in a standardized format, about the growing number of student chapters for graduate and undergraduate students. It is meant to be a starting point for surveying what chapters are doing.
Student Events
RSA annual events alternate between conferences and institutes and offer exciting intellectual opportunities for graduate students and faculty.
