RSA Student Chapter annual Funding Grants

RSA will provide grants of $50 to all qualified student chapters on an annual basis. This award is meant to support the yearly activities of RSA student chapters, including (but not limited to) the hosting of colloquia, professionalization talks, reading groups, and seminars. Any chapter in good standing (meaning that the chapter has a minimum of three student members and has adopted the RSA Student Chapter Guidelines) will have the yearly opportunity to apply for the $50 grant from RSA.

Chapters must submit a brief application (below)  by February 3, 2025 for projects that have occurred or will occur in the 2024-2025 academic year.

Chapters receiving funding will be asked to provide a brief written report of the year’s activities to RSA’s Board of Directors by May 15 of the funding year.

Chapters may also apply for a Special Event Funding Award. See the blue box on the right and click for more information.

RSA Student Chapters provide a forum for gathering locally as rhetoricians and can serve a variety of rhetoric-related functions. Many established student chapters have created or are creating rhetoric colloquia.
