Kendall PhillipsThe Rhetoric Society of America represents a large and growing community of scholars, teachers and students interested in the study of rhetoric. RSA embraces a broad conception of rhetoric which includes spoken, written, visual and material texts circulating in a wide variety of situations ranging from the public to the private and from face-to-face to digital, within historical and contemporary social, political, and cultural contexts including race, gender, class, sexuality, and ethnicity among others.

CCCC International Researchers’ Consortium

The CCCC International Researchers’ Consortium invites brief proposals for up to twenty-four researcher-participant roles in a U.S. College Conference on Composition and Communication (CCCC) workshop focused on research about writing in higher education outside of the U.S.

PAMLA 2015: Rhetorical Approaches to Literature

Proposals are invited on any aspect of Rhetorical Approaches to Literature. PAMLA 2015’s special conference theme is “Literature and Time,” so papers that consider Literature and Time will be particularly appropriate, but proposals on any topic related to Rhetorical Approaches to Literature are equally welcome.
